Bob Fois is a lifelong resident of Eastchester. He was raised in Green Knolls and now lives on Garth Road. Bob takes immense pride in his hometown and knows we must do everything to preserve our quality of life.
As a journalist, Bob covered every level of government across New York State. Many of you will remember him as a local reporter and columnist writing about Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville. Bob worked closely with former U.S. Congressman Joe DioGuardi to promote reforms in municipal finance throughout the United States. He now works for Westchester County helping job seekers get back to work and assisting with economic development.
Bob presently serves as chairman of the Eastchester Town Conservative Committee, where he has successfully worked to help provide the “margin of victory” in almost every contested election in Eastchester over the past 20 years. He is also vice chair of the Westchester County Conservative Committee, as well as serving on the executive committee of the New York State Conservative Party.
In addition to being a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bob serves with the Knights of Columbus out of I.H.M., Immaculate Conception/Assumption and St. Joseph parishes. Bob enjoys being civically engaged and has volunteered on campaigns in town and throughout the Hudson Valley for over 35 years.
Along the way, Bob Fois has done a lot of on-air work, first as news director of WVOX and then as host of call-in radio shows.
Bob is a trained dramatist, having also studied screenwriting and acting, and he remains a big proponent of the arts. He is presently developing a podcast that will cover independent film and review movies.
